a gurgling stream, filled with trout
chilled forest, covered in white
winds move tree leaves
reflections, his origins, his peaceful presence
framed from his love of outdoors
from an early age
he made promises to himself
that would benefit others
to be
his own person, for their sake
not his
an angry bird once wanted what he had
he watched it
flutter from tree to tree
squawk
in time it would go away
time would be of his making
a family
finding the one that saw the magic in him
and creating from it
A world of love, a collective image
his acts of love and giving
are natural, his nature
extending from his own nest
to a blessed one from another place
to Craig, we are all the same
the world wants what he has
and he graciously gives it to them
a kind word, helping hand, clarity
Thank you god, for Craig McGill
